| This study investigates the influence of skewness on the natural frequency of elastically supported laminated plates via a higher-order shear deformation theory (HSDT) model combined with the multi-quadric radial basis function (MQRBF) collocation method. Five variables displacement field represents the elastically supported skew laminated plate and include transverse shear deformation effects. The elastic foundation is represented by a two-parameter Pasternak formulation, which addresses normal and shear interactions. The governing equations are developed using Hamilton's principle and discretized using MQRBF. A wide range of parametric studies is conducted to determine the influence of skewing angle, foundation stiffness, span to thickness ratio, and orientation on vibration response. The suggested method is confirmed by comparison with known results, proving to be correct and efficient. These findings add to the understanding of the free vibration response of skew laminated plates on elastic foundations, and it can find applications in aerospace engineering, marine engineering, and civil engineering. | ||
